From across the pond, Midlands in the UK to be exact, and here comes this rugged new single from Ghost 67 featuring one of our favourite underground homegrown rappers Celph Titled. Ghost 67 has impressed before with his previous single ‘Angel Of Sin’, which was the first single, with ‘Land Of The Lost’ being the second.
This is a slice of straight up Hip-Hop that fans of real neck-snapping rap will be banging hard. Ghost 67 reps the UK hard with some hard hitting futuristic bars as he compares the current state of Hip-Hop to the state of the current banking systems, new world order and government schemes. Both emcees go hard with this track and it’s something that we are sure you will be up on.
If you’re feeling UK acts like Lowkey, Peoples Army and Klashnekoff or US acts like Jedi Mind Tricks, Immortal Technique and Dead Prez then this is a must for you. We’re looking forward to hearing the full length album ‘Footsteps Of An Angel Of Sin’ which promises to be Ghost 67′s best work to date. It features UK veterans Wordsmiff and Blade from Mark B & Blade (Virgin Records, UK), as well as Face from the legendary UK grime crew So Solid Crew, amongst others.
This single will definitely push Ghost 67 in the right direction he needs to be as well turning new fans onto his music. Ghost 67 has a special something that we like. It’s the essence of the old skool that’s got real new skool edge. Through his bars you can see that he has respect for the culture and for his music, as bars are delivered with sincerity.
